Ordinary tabs (without special coating) have high initial heat-seal strength even when they are made, and they only need to be immersed in electrolyte for a few hours, and the rubber block will naturally separate from the metal Cu-Ni, Ni, and Al without any peeling. strength. Cells encapsulated by ordinary tabs, because the electrolyte is easy to damage the bonding mechanism between the insulating rubber block and Cu-Ni, Ni, Al (especially Al tabs), the barrier performance of the tabs drops quickly, and the outside world Moisture and air gradually enter the cell, causing the cell to swell and fail. Such a cell will generally swell in a normal temperature environment for as short as 1 month, as long as 3 months or half a year.
The electrode Cu-Ni, Ni, Al surface special nano-coating developed by our company not only has good bonding performance with the rubber block and Cu-Ni, Ni, Al metal surface, but also has excellent resistance to electrolysis. Liquid and anti-HF performance, the initial heat seal strength is maintained in the electrolyte, which fundamentally solves the weakest link of ordinary tabs that are not resistant to electrolyte, thereby ensuring the subsequent storage and use of the encapsulated cell Long-term tightness during the process. In addition, the adopted rubber block adopts imported three-layer co-extruded film (see the figure for the structure), and the middle insulating layer has a high melting point. The insulating layer will not melt under normal heat sealing conditions, which effectively prevents short circuit between Ni and aluminum plastic film aluminum foil. Cut off the necessary conditions for the battery to produce corrosion. The use of special coated tabs solves the above-mentioned problems well, and can even reduce the sealing width of the cell to 3mm. It is verified by batch experiments that this kind of 3mm sealed cell has no gassing during long-term storage.
